Recently North Metro TV featured The Diaper Drive and shared the critical need for diapers in our community.
Excerpt from Metro North TV YouTube post:
“As new children are being born, families are filled with all kinds of emotions. Through all the happiness and joy, most families also deal with at least a little bit of stress about money. Thinking about food, clothing, daycare and more can be overwhelming. Another expense that every new baby brings to the family is the cost of diapers.
Governor Dayton has declared Sept. 28-Oct. 4 to be Diaper Need Awareness Week, helping to draw attention to this issue.
The Diaper Drive will be participating in a metro-wide diaper drive in mid October. They will be collecting sealed packages and open packages of diapers from anyone willing to donate. You can learn more about The Diaper Drive, including how to get involved at thediaperdrive.org”
